Optimal sizes for the dining room + kitchen furniture
Most of our furniture is made and designed based on the standard measurements. It makes furniture shopping and the process of arranging furniture easier when you know the standard measurements before you buy. For instance, once you know the dining table dimensions, it will be easier for you to know how many dining chairs it will fit into your dining room. Or you can pretty much estimate how many seaters table can it fit by looking into the layout of your home. Although these measurements are standard, we recommend that you always check the specific dimensions of an item you are purchasing to make sure it fits for your needs, such as, the depth of the chair, or the length of the table, etc.

For the dining room
Dining room tables and chairs are also usually made according to standard measurements.
The measurements below are what you can expect to find on average:
For dining table:
Height of dining table: 75 cm
Width of dining table: 90-100 cm
For dining chair:
Seat height of dining chair: 45 cm
Overall height of dining chair: 86-92 cm
If you have a rectangular table, the size for comfortable seating follows:
To fit 6 people

To fit 10 people

For the kitchen
Kitchen islands come in various sizes depending on their built-in amenities, and many are customized. The measurements below are what you can expect to find on average:
For kitchen counter:
Height of counter may vary: 88-93 cm or 105-110 cm
Width of counter: 80-90 cm
For the bar stools:
Seat height of bar stools: 58-70 cm or 73-81 cm, we like to keep about 20 cm minimum between the seat of the bar stool and the counter.
Additionally, the ack rest height should be around 30-40 cm.
Ideally, you will need about 60 cm length per each stool in the kitchen island.
