How to make a sanitization station at home

Your cleaning products deserve to look good too!

What you will need:

  • Tray
  • Empty Bottles
  • Cleaning Solutions – Surface Spray with Alcohol, Hand Sanitizers
  • Tissue – Wet + Dry
  • Gloves
  • Trash Can
  • Reusable Mesh Bag

Set a designated table

Are you planning on setting up the sanitization station indoor or outdoor? If you’re looking to place it indoor, you can opt for a wooden table. If it’s for the outdoor, we recommend an outdoor table or simply a foldable table.

Cluster all items on the tray

Preferably a rectangular tray, gather all your tools on the tray. This allows you to keep everything in the same spot to make it look neater and to be more functional. This makes things to be in easy reach too!

Pour cleaning solutions to empty bottles

To make your station looking organized,we recommend using uniform bottles for pouring your hand sanitizers and disinfectants. You can label them, reuse them when empty and this saves you a lot of money.

Have a drying area

You can spare a space nearby your table or simply, hang a mesh bag on the wall. You can insert your sanitized goods into the mesh bag to dry or let your goods dry as it is in the designated drying area.

Don’t forget to sanitize your  sanitization station after use + wash your hands

Just like your goods, the bacteria and virus can stick onto a surface and get contaminated instantly. Don’t forget to immediately disinfect and wash your hands thoroughly with hand sanitizer containing minimum of 60% alcohol or 20 seconds on the sink!

If you’re afraid that the disinfectant can ruin the finishing of your table, do not worry. Wooden tables can use disinfectant spray if you wipe them immediately with dry paper towels.

Tips on using chemical disinfectant safely

  • Use only the amount recommended on the label
  • Use cleaning solutions containing alcohol to disinfect
  • If the solution need to be diluted with water for use, use water at room temperature (unless stated otherwise on the label)
  • Do not mix products or chemicals

  • Do not eat, drink, breathe, or inject
