Studio Dapur is a social enterprise based in a small West Java village, Padakembang, on the Galunggung foothill in Tasikmalaya, a village of fertile volcanic soil in a region where most of the bamboo crafts found in Java and Bali originated from.
Bamboo is abundant in Indonesia and Studio Dapur has managed to translate this sustainable resource into a versatile, minimalistic and functional pieces that suit your everyday dining to your organizational tools.
Inspired by the local values and cultures, Studio Dapur collaborates with the best local weavers in the village to design and create bamboo works.
