Working closely with the talented women of Flores, East Nusa Tenggara, Du Anyam creates wicker products through the most authentic craftsmanship. Intending to economically empower and improve the livelihood of these women in rural areas around Indonesia, Du Anyam is a brand built upon the values of its founders. The three pillars of Du Anyam are: Empower Women, Promote Culture, and Improve Livelihood.

Sulla carefully selects the materials to be able to attain the highest level of comfort yet visually pleasing too, with the range of the earthy toned fabrics that highly match with each season’s trends.

The last Local Makers is Sajiva, takes its name based on the Sanskrit meaning of being “full of life” or “soulmate”. The company’s belief is simple, that food would taste better when plated beautifully. Sajiva Ceramics is based in Jakarta, Indonesia, run by two sisters, Vera and Sandra, with an aim to change the local arts and crafts industry with their artisanal handmade pieces. Sajiva believes that each finger impression, brush stroke and etching lends a unique touch to the final object and carries the story of its creation.
